Banking Habits
On 10th
October’14 a seminar on BANKING HABITS
was organised in the school. Mr. Pranab Kumar Chakraborty lectured on the
basics of Banking Habit. First he
explained the historical background on the banking system of our country. He discussed
about the different types of banks and the facilities they provide. He also
explained different types of deposits such as the Fixed Deposits (FDs), Recurring
Deposits (RDs), Saving Account Deposits, etc. and different kinds of loans such
as Home Loans, Car Loans, Education
Loans provided by the banks. He also introduced the concept of online banking
and how it is making banking easier for the masses.
It was a very
interesting and informative programme. The programme helped the students to get
an idea about the banking system in India.
The programme was interactive in nature and all the students took part in
it enthusiastically.
