An inter-house extempore competition was held in August 2014.
The topic of the extempore was to understand the role of sports and games in
bringing nations together. The four houses that participated were Shivaji,
Rajaji, Bapuji and Swamiji. After each speech, the audiences were encouraged to
share their views, and two students from the audience were even allowed to
speak on the topic. From the extempore, many new ideas like “the significance
of games in improving physical fitness”, and “how sports can be used as an
anti-war tactic”, were put forward.
