FDI Meet
Our school has
organised a programme named FDI MEET
2014 on 31st October 2014. The agenda of the meet was “Investment in Telecommunication Sector in
India”, where the aim of different countries was to provide a comprehensive
plan as to how they wish to do so. Students o f class XI participated in it.
They represented different countries and put forward their presentation and
demonstrated the various steps of the procedure. They also formulated solutions
to the major problems of the Indian telecommunication sector. The students debated on different topics and
discussed in details the different pros
and cons that their countries would
face if they invested in India. The students set their bar high with their
debating skills and knowledge of economics. Every country was questioned by
other countries on their investment plan and policies. The students got engaged
in heated discussions and arguments when they were questioned, but were able to
answer them effectively. Students representing South Korea came first as their
investment proposal was accepted, followed by Germany and China for putting up
a plethora of reasoned arguments.
